kAudioUnitProperty_AUHostIdentifier

Hello,

How well supported is the kAudioUnitProperty_AUHostIdentifier property? I have a situation where I would like to be able to identify a particular host but so far, from the hosts I've tried, only Logic and AULab seem to be setting this property. Are there any other reliable methods to explore besides the AUHostIdentifier property?

Thanks,
Stephen
