Following on from this thread, I am working my way through integrating my code into the SampleAudioUSBPlugin kext example.

I would like to add a few custom controls to the device driver to set & read parameters of my processing from an eventual user application.  These controls don't alter the physical device in any way, just the subsequent host-side signal processing.

From the AppleUSBAudioPlugin  definitions, I can't see an obvious way to add software-based controls to the device in the plugin mechanism.

Is this possible?  If so, how do I go about this?
