I'm sorry, but, the IAC driver is an ugly hack which has necessitated other ugly hacks (like an arbitrary speed limit across the whole system since the IAC driver makes it so easy to create feedback loops).
And, the user should be in complete control of it.
So, please don't compound the hack even further. A day could come when the IAC driver just isn't there. Instead, create a virtual source.
