This sounds to us like a problem either with the headset of the jack on the unit. When we do this here, it behaves as we'd expect (redirects to the headset). If you try a phone call with this headset, does the audio come in/out through the headset or the builtin mic/speaker?

Thanks Bill, I'll go and buy a new headset and see if that makes the difference (hope it is that and not the jack)
