multiple audioqueues

Hi,

I just wondered if there is a recommended best practice for handling multiple audioqueue instances?

In a situation where I need to have several audio files playing simultaneously, or at timed intervals, is there any benefit to retaining the idle queues and then assigning them a new audio file to play, or is it better to release them and create a new queue as each file get played? Would there be an expected performance difference between the two approaches?

thanks,

Robert Carroll
