I have a bit of a curiosity: In my application, I pull on a DeferedRender AU. The DR AU in turn pulls on a callback function that returns -1 when my audio source is muted, along with zeroing the sample data buffers. What is odd is the DeferedRender AU usually passed the error up the chain, but every now and then, between 30 to 60 IO cycles, it passes 0 up the chain, and junk in the buffer.
Any ideas?
