iPad USB device not working

Hello All

So I got my camera connection kit today, and went out and bought an M-Audio Fastrack Pro, "OS X class compliant" and I can never get it to work, either on input or output.

It works fine on OS X, but never on my iPad. I am powering it with an external wall wart.

Anyone have a suggestion for me?
