Implementing audio scrubbing?

  • Subject: Implementing audio scrubbing?

I want to implement audio scrubbing, that is, audio is played at the speed by which the user moves a slider forward or backward. So, moving the slider fast results in a highly pitched sound, while moving slowly gives a low sound. I have no idea of how to approach this: any pointers, suggestions, sample code are welcome.

Thanks,
Izak
