Airplay using remoteIO/audiounit failing on ios4.2GM

Hi,

Have an app that uses remoteIO (in an augraph) to generate audio. If I switch the audio to an airport express speaker or an appleTV using the airplay button, the audio plays for a split second on the remote speaker and than stops, though the app continues to generate samples using the augraph callback.

If I attempt to start playing when airplay is already set to a remote speaker, no audio is played, even though the app seems to be generating samples via the callbacks.

Anything special I need to do to support Airplay? (like maybe allowing for a bigger buffer size?). The docs say airplay should work out of the box with no special support, but that does not seem the case.
