Stopping and restarting an AudioQueue in record mode

  • Subject: Stopping and restarting an AudioQueue in record mode

Hi all,

I'm using an AudioQueue for recording and trying to stop and then
restart the recording by calling AudioQueueStop() and then
AudioQueueStart(), but I can't get it to work: AudioQueueStop() does
stop the recording, but AudioQueueStart() won't restart it.

I'm having this problem both on the iPhone and on Mac OS X. A small
command-line test program demonstrating the issue is on the latter
can be downloaded from

  http://www.gson.org/bugs/apple/coreaudio/rectest.cc

Any hints? Is this supposed to work?
