Im currently in the beta test phase for an AU plugin.
A tester has reported a problem in Logic 9.1 whereby the plugin is failing the AU Validator. He sent me the log from the validator, and the version is 1.6.
I downloaded the "latest" version of auvaltool from
apple.com but when i run auvaltool from the terminal, my version is only 1.2 (plus i still have auval which is at 1.1).
Secondly, at some point (dont know when) my plugin stopped appearing in both auval and auvaltool. I dont know what i changed (if anything) - but it does still show up in the auvaltool on the testers machine! (inside Logic).
I have tested the AU myself in Ableton 8.2 and AU Lab, but neither use the validator and I dont have logic as there is no demo. Its pretty frustrating that I cant obtain a demo of Logic for development purposes, but I hope at least I can obtain the same version of the validator as Logic. Hopefully im just being stupid and someone has the official download link for it!
Advice on both problems would be much appreciated!
