Forcing "Live" mode on a Logic track from Audio Unit

Hi,

Is there any way to force a Logic track into "Live" mode from an Audio Unit?
For the plugin I'm working on this is a necessity unfortunately and
having to add an I/O Helper plugin on every track is an annoying
workaround for this.

Thanks,

Karel
