Hello List,
I'm pretty new to Core Audio, so please forgive me if I sound like I'm stumbling in the dark.
I've managed to get the AUSampler to load and play a Sound Font in iOS. Now I need to figure out why I'm only hearing it in one channel. The pan is correct when I load the Sound Font in the AuSampler instrument in Mac, but in iOS I get only one channel. I've tried the sound font file provided by my client, as well as one I created from scratch.
Has anyone else successfully loaded a sound font into the AUSampler? Anyone else experience this panning issue?
The OSX UI for AUSampler has a "pan" knob, so I'm guessing there is a pan parameter that can be set using AudioUnitSetParameter. However, I don't see any mention of that parameter, or any parameters in the (very sparse) documentation for AUSampler. Is my guess about a pan parameter correct? If so, how can I learn more about it? If not, any ideas about what's going wrong?
thanks,
-Morgan
