AU->UI communication

  • Subject: AU->UI communication

Hi all,

	I'm rolling my own metering in my UI that needs certain values from the processing data. I see two possible ways to handle this: using a timer on the UI side and querying the property value(s), or creating a property change listener in the UI and sending event notification(s) from the AU.

	Which method would be preferred? (I'm thinking that the timer version might be more efficient since the notification method would require multiple events to be generated. But I'm not sure.)

Thanks,
	Howard
