Vienna Ensemble never sets kAudioUnitProperty_SetRenderCallback for AU effects

Hi folks,

I have a problem with one of the AU hosts - Vienna Ensemble. While most hosts either use MakeConnection or SetRenderCallback to notify the plugin about the input, it seems that this one uses neither of them (though the dev says it uses kAudioUnitProperty_SetRenderCallback). Therefore the plugin things the input is not activated and produces silence. Is there any explanation for such a behaviour?
