Recommended way to share state between AudioUnit Cocoa view and AU implementation

Hi,

AudioUnit developer newbie here, I cannot figure out from the examples if there is a recommended way to share data between the Cocoa view and the AU itself (that is the subclass of AUEffectBase). Examples usually duplicate controllers and so on.

Are the recommended ways to do that?

Thanks.
