Hi Paul,
Thanks for your reply.
I understand that and that's why i'm trying to find other sources. I
don't want to bother with my lack of knowledge about this topics. I have
registered myself in a couple of other forums. You say that there is a
lot of code around to do what I want, can you point me if you have any?
I think that what I want to do is really simple, right now I just really
wanted to understand the call sequence of MIDI Server when it founds a
driver, since that doesn't seem obvious to me on the SampleUSBMIDIDriver.
Thanks,
With my best regards,
Nuno

Hi again,
Is it normal a list of such complex topic not have so much activity at all?
You'd better get used to it.
You're much better off looking for other examples of code that does
what you want than asking for help on this list. Occasionally a
question is asked that gets an interesting and detailed response, but
in general one of a few things happens here:
* questions about audio& MIDI on iOS that are still so new that
there aren't many people who can answer them and those that can are
busy cranking out apps
* questions about audio& MIDI on OS X that have been asked
numerous times over the last several years and nobody can be bothered
to answer again
* questions about relatively obscure aspects of CoreAudio or
CoreMIDI that are not well documented and almost nobody outside of
Apple has any information about. Those that do are likely to busy to
answer the question, or possibly even don't want to.
There is code out there to do what you want. Depending on the license
you plan to use, you can even re-use some of it.
