hi everyone,
i was wondering how to get soundfiles into the canonical iOS
fixed-point 8.24 format.
i want to access the samples in a render callback function from an
AudioBufferList without having to convert each sample there in realtime.
how can i convert the files, either manually with a software tool or
programmatically in my code (iOS)? i tried afconvert, but there
doesn't seem to be an option for the fixed-point 8.24 format, just
integer or floating point.
