Manually mixing audio on iOS

Hi guys,

I’m looking into manually mixing two stereo audio channels on iOS because I have some needs that go beyond what the MultiChannelMixer is capable of. As a first step I wanted to replicate the mixing behavior of the iOS MultiChannelMixer Audio Unit.

For this I was wondering if the multi channel mixer on iOS is doing anything other than the following for the mixing:

X = A*a + B*b

... where 'a' and 'b' are input volumes (0-1) for the two stereo channels A and B.

Thanks!
