The Dirac material looks impressive. Unfortunately, I need to process stereo source files (phase-locked) which falls outside of their free version.
I'm just looking for a static pitch change. It could be done off-line if the process is fast enough, but my preference would be to be able to change to sample rate of the audioqueue in the context of my existing code. Currently I'm doing this with time-scaling the audio segment in Quicktime, but the whole point of moving into audioqueue was to avoid further use of Quicktime.

Not sure if this helps but the DiracLE SDK has a varispeed example in the iOS realtime example folder: http://dirac.dspdimension.com
If you don't need full scale time stretching but just a SRC pitch change you can simply use their EAFRead class which takes an output sample rate parameter...
