logic instruments as audio units?

  • Subject: logic instruments as audio units?

Hi all,

Is it possible to use the synths in Logic (or Logic Express) as audio
units in a different host? If there is a better place to ask this
question, please let me know. If it's not possible, does anyone know
the story there? Ie, is it going to stay that way, and why? I ask
because I like those instruments, but I sometimes prefer to "compose"
using code/text files, similar to csound scores, and I'm writing a
program to allow that, which hosts audio units.

thanks,
Rob
