real time pitch shift

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to do a real time pitch shift. Just a pitch shift, without effecting the tempo/length of the audio file.

A good example of what I am trying to accomplish (sort of anyway) is similar to this App:http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blower-real-air/id335862325?mt=8

I'm currently playing around with http://www.dspdimension.com/admin/pitch-shifting-using-the-ft/, and trying to get that to work. I've spent hours trying to figure this out without much luck. Any guidance in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
