Getting the host time valid in the remder AudioTimeStamp parameter

  • Subject: Getting the host time valid in the remder AudioTimeStamp parameter

Hello everybody,

Is there a way for a MusicDevice AU to tell the host that it wants a valid host machine time mHostTime field in the render AudioTimeStamp parameter?

An AU hosted by AULab receives an AudioTimeStamp with the 3 1st fields valid (mSampleTime, mHostTime and mRateScalar). The same AU hosted by Logic receives an AudioTimeStamp with only the 1st field valid (mSampleTime).

Thanks,
Philippe
