Hi all,
I am working on a format converter AU based around the excellent Dirac
time stretching library (http://dirac.dspdimension.com). I use 'aufc'
as type, inherit from AUBase, set it up with a {-1, -1} input
capabilities matrix, and I use the generic view (ie no Carbon or Cocoa
view). I can compile it and auval validates both the 64 and 32bit
version just fine, but it does not appear in AULab. I am using
AUAudioFilePlayer as generator and I can see AUTimePitch and
AUVarispeed being available as effects, but not my own AU. I can
instantiate it from my own host with no issues.
Any idea why AULab would not like my plug in? I have reset the cache
and removed the com.apple.audiounit plist file, but still no luck.
Does Logic (or any other host) support this type of plug in, and if
so, how do I instantiate it from there?
Thanks in advance for any help!
