I'm looking at AudioConverterFillComplexBuffer, and it sounds like it
might do what I want. I only found a disk based example so far, but it
seems doable from memory?
I'm receiving the data via a RTSP stream. I have an in memory buffer
containing the AAC data (16kbps), trying to get 8khz 16b PCM. Idea is
to generate some silence when stream stalls, although looking at this
function I'd need my silence represented in AAC format to prevent the
conversion stalling?
>From my experience with AudioQueues my concern is populating the ASBD
structure on the AAC side, and trying to avoid having to populate any
descriptors...
Thanks all for feedback, I'm going to try this out in the morning and
see how far I can get.
