introspect custom audio unit properties?

  • Subject: introspect custom audio unit properties?

Hi,

Can a vendor define audio unit properties besides those in the apple headers?  And if so, how do you know how to call them? Is there a way to introspect the AudioUnit, or Component, and see them, as you can with parameters?

In AudioUnitProperties.h, I see "Apple reserves property IDs from 0 -> 63999. Developers are free to use property IDs above this range."

thanks,
Rob
