HAL plugins and AudioServerPlugIn_Network

Has anyone made use of AudioServerPlugIn_Network in their HAL plugin
(audio driver)?

AudioServerPlugIn.h says that having this key in the bundle's
Info.plist allows network access within the coreaudiod sandbox.

I still see sandboxd denying access to the network, e.g.

12/25/12 9:57:57.178 PM sandboxd[63595]: ([63587]) coreaudiod(63587)
deny mach-lookup com.apple.networkd
12/25/12 9:57:57.181 PM sandboxd[63595]: ([63587]) coreaudiod(63587)
deny system-socket

Strangely enough, my driver still works fine.
