Hi.
I would like to create an HALPlugin in order to add effect on audiobuffer from Itunes or Firefox (like
Hear does).
I'm currently working on the Sample Hardware Plugin example and I'm able to create a virtual a virtual device who process an audio effect on streams before to redirect it to the Built-in Output.
I understand that the plugin is loaded by each application, but the process method ( WriteOutputData() or PreProcessOuputData() ) is called only if the plugin is set as an audio device.
I would like to hide the device generated by the plugin, and use this as a real-time audio plugin.
Maybe I misunderstand something in the architecture but the plugin is unable to get IOProc from an app by itself.
I would like to know how it could be.
Thank for your hellp.
