I’ve just come across an issue where my app’s sound, which previously worked a treat, will after some lengthy (2-5 minutes) and random (?) amount of time “crash” and revert into this horrid, uniform loud buzzing sound that sounds almost like the iPhone speaker flapping at maximum volume. It’s just the sound. The UI of the app continues to function as normal when the issue occurs but additional sound events have no effect. I’m using a Remote I/O unit with an audio callback input. Even stranger, if I adjust the volume on the phone, the buzz instantly stops and normal functionality resumes. I feel that there is a clue in that last statement somewhere... Any ideas? Thanks, Hari Karam Singh |
