How to get mixed audio stream in hardware plug-in?

Hi,

I am playing around with the SampleHardwarePlugin example code. I am using it as my default audio device. If I have more than one application using the device at the same time, there are separate instances of the plug-in created. I can not figure out how to use only one driver instance and get all audio in that one, preferably already mixed. Anyone?
