libPD AudioUnit in AUGraph

Hi, 

I'm a Core Audio and libPD newbie - has anyone tried the libPD AudioUnit inside the Core Audio AUGraph? I've heard that it's not possible to chain these up, is it true? 

If it isn't possible, is there any way I can chain the output of libPD into a Apple Supplied audio unit ? (say remoteIO / reverb)
