AU View and Processing code in same bundle?

hi All,

I am trying to create a 64bit version of an rather old AudioUnit which is based on a Carbon View (AUCarbonViewBase), so it needs to be translated to use Cocoa. This in itself is not such a problem, but in the existing code, View and processing code, are in the same bundle, sharing pointers etc. Without going into the discussion of what is better, is it at all possible to do the same with a cocoa based view ?
All documentation I have found so far seems to tell me this is not the case… Is it possible at all?

thanks,
Fokke
