I'm not sure we're talking about the same problem. This follows a question I asked last week.
My hardware needs to read and write the same amount of data.
I've made several tests using both Null and SimpleAudio drivers, and various audio softwares (I patched SimpleAudio to be able to set the sample rate, used 10.8.2 as Null crashes on 10.8.3, and could not test with Cubase as none of the samples show up in Cubase) and compared the amount of data read and written on the long term. The process is _very_ divergent, depending on the softwares used.
So my question is: how can I get sure that the average data read and written are equal?
Thanks
Eric
