Yep same question really, once you have the AUGraph you can iterate it to find all the nodes, including the remoteIO.

Be nice to add some effects to openAL...

Don't know, but in a similar vein, I've always wanted to be able to find any AURemoteIOs in use, so that if you're doing OpenAL, you could hook a render notify on it and get the spatialized audio (so you could then write it to a file, stream it, whatever).
