If your target synth
responds to MIDI Channel numbers, you can could attempt using Pitch Bend for this by assigning
each note its own Channel.... But the other problem is that for Pitch Bend to work as
desired the target synth would also need to support more than a semi-tone or
whole tone of Pitch Bend range, which I suspect most iOS synths just don't
do, unfortunately...

Yeah, it would affect all notes, thats no good.

Bend is not precise enough for the purpose, and I think it also affects all
notes at once. But the Mac is unique in allowing individual notes to be
adjusted by fractions - really a wonderful feature.
