I'm not one of the developer involved with the port or packaging or distribution of JACKiOS, but I thought it would be important to let all of you folks know that JACK for iOS is now available in the app store.

What is JACK? In a nutshell:  low latency, synchronous interconnect of audio and MIDI data streams between applications and audio devices. Its also been around the block a few times: JACK was first developed on Linux in 2003, was ported to OS X in 2004 and windows in 2008 (roughly speaking). The API for applications is identical across all platforms.
