Sorry if this is answered by the documentation somewhere (I couldn't
find it). Is it safe to assume that AudioOutputUnitStart emits the
appropriate memory barriers such that any memory written to before the
call to AudioOutputUnitStart is visible by the time the render callback
first fires on the audio thread?
