We may want to file bugs at bugreport.apple.com against docs that link to openal.org -- such as TechNote TN 2199 <https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/technotes/tn2199/_index.html> -- since those links are dead and it's not clear they're coming back.

I'm sure we can all find copies of the OpenAL Programming Guide PDF around the web, but this is potentially problematic for OS X and iOS audio development going forward. It might be necessary for Apple to pull the OpenAL guide into the Xcode doc bundle, if it's able to do so legally.

For some reason a few years ago they stopped doing any work on it and they have killed it off. They cut off all links to developers using it and stopped updating openal.org.
