AudioServerPlugIn: force applications to get input audio independently

Hi folks,

I am writing an AudioServerPlugIn virtual audio driver. I noticed that I am able to capture the pre-mixed audio coming from the applications by using the kAudioServerPlugInIOOperationMixOutput IO operation ID. Unfortunately I cannot determine a mechanism by which to force each application to ask my driver for their input audio independently, bypassing what seems to be some kind of Core Audio intermediate buffering. Is this possible using the AudioServerPlugIn interface?

Thanks all,

Hamish
