Access AUSampler's pan & pitch parameters via UISlider

Hey, everyone.

I'm working with Apple's LoadPresetDemo AUSampler project, and have my samples triggering properly with a custom aupreset. But, I can't figure out the steps to modify each layer's pan and pitch (tuning) parameters via a UISlider (or a rotary knob) in real-time. I'm currently accessing the individual gain level via MIDI velocity.

I can see the specific MIDI controller numbers and select my own within the layers in AU Lab. But, I don't know the actual code to get this to access the parameters within the preset. Are there additional steps for making these parameters accessible from within AU Lab, before I save the preset?

I posted this question on the Apple Developers forum, but haven't received a code example to get me underway, yet.

Thanks in advance.

Take care,
Mark
