Hi

I'd like to store data in a file from my userland driver or HAL plugin (for 10.6/10.7).
It looks like coreaudiod is not allowed to write in a directory like /tmp or /Users/Shared
Nor do CFPreferences seem to work.
Is there an allowed place for this (besides CopyFromStorage because I need to keep compatibility with earlier systems)?

Thanks
Eric Gorouben
