How to correctly handle NSView::keyDown/Up in AudioUnit to avoid crashing Logic?

Hi,

my plugins are accepting keyboard events. When a key event is not handled, it is forwarded somewhere else like this:

[super keyDown: pEvent]

If that's not done, hosts don't get spacebar for start/stop playback for example. Unfortunately there's a problem with Logic - when you press 1/2/3/4... it switches between layouts, which unfortunately means destroy the plugin view. But the keyDown even is still processing, so Logic destroys the plugin while processing it's own message. And this usually leads to a crash, with no trace of the plugin in the stack...

Any ideas?

Regards
Vojtech
