I've written a specialized podcast app using AVAudioPlayer, and it works well enough. I can play it through my Bluetooth-connected car audio system, and that's great.
But it doesn't show the track title information on the car's display like the Music app does. I also can't use the next/previous controls on my steering wheel to change tracks in my app. Moreover, when I first re-connect to the car, it always reverts to playing the Music app, not my podcast.
What's the API that allows me to be better integrated?
