Unable to load Audio Unit in Garage Band

  • Subject: Unable to load Audio Unit in Garage Band

Hi all,
I am not able to load my Audio Unit (Instrument) in Garage Band. When I select it in the Audio Unit list I got the following message:

Audio Unit plug-in can't be used.
The Audio Unit “xxx” could not be loaded for your project, and may need to be updated. Contact the manufacturer for an updated version or further assistance.

I am successfully passing auval and able to load in Logic Pro X (as well as in Ableton Live and Digital Performer).

I launched GarageBand in Xcode and saw that it creates the audio unit, sends a couple of Set/GetProperty (any information of these might help too) then deletes it and shows the error message.

Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Any clue on how to debug this would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Kevin MOLCARD
