Using HostTime.h and breakpoints

I am trying to use Core Audio's HostTime functions i.e. AudioGetHostClockMinimumTimeDelta() to set up a breakpoint that would stop my program so that I could perform Matlab (the engineering language) computations in a very short period of time to generate different audio waveforms.
