Sorry to be so obnoxious, but I have to say… this is possibly the single worst message ever posted to coreaudio-dev. Congratulations!
No, seriously, this is a list for the Core Audio API for OS X and iOS. Not Android. And not Java, which doesn’t exist on iOS, and which is of extremely minor importance on OS X.
I think you will have far better luck posting in an Android forum somewhere, or possibly a Java site like Oracle’s.
And can I just say that from hard-won experience: you really don’t want to attempt to do any form of digital media in Java unless you truly have no other choice. Android’s ineptitude at audio, particularly low-latency, is legendary, and none of the big Java players (Google, Oracle, Sun back in the day) has ever shown any deep interest in or talent for media. You are almost always going to be better off giving up on Java and using JNI to use a native framework, cross-platform implications be damned.
