Loading AudioUnit from a custom location

  • Subject: Loading AudioUnit from a custom location

Hi there

I want to be able to load an AudioUnit from a custom location on my harddrive — i.e. not located in one of the standard ‘Component’ folders.

I can’t find an obvious way to do this in the AudioComponent header files or documentation. Is there any way to achieve this?

Thanks in advance
Michael
