Record System Built-in Output with HAL unit

Good day!

I was wondering if it's possible to capture "System Built-in Output" device output using HAL unit on Mac?

I made couple of changes to an existing code using audio devices that have input streams:
switched EnableIO parameter, changed kAudioOutputUnitProperty_SetInputCallback to kAudioUnitProperty_SetRenderCallback and things like that. No luck so far.

Has anyone tried to do that?

Thank you very much.
