  • Thread-topic: New issue under OX 10.11.4 BETA 5-6 for audio device naming

Hello,

Some of our USBAUDIO class devices have a strange issue under 10.11.4 BETA 4-6 (and not on earlier BETAs).  If our audio device name has a non-alphanumeric character (say a "-" or "+"), then a "_" is invariably substituted.  This only happens at the CoreAudio level, and not at the USB level.

Could anybody comment on this issue?  Does anyone know if Apple is working on a fix?

Thank you,

Philip Lukidis
