We have been experiencing very rare random delays in the audio buffers in core audio.

Hi John,

Could you be more specific about what this "random delay" sounds like?

I've been trying to track down a possibly similar issue in an application that I maintain; although I'm yet to completely rule out our code base as the source. In my case I'm getting periodic clicking which sounds a bit like ring-buffer read/write getting out of sync. It only happens very infrequently (every few weeks in daily use), and goes away if we tear down and re-instatiate AUHAL.

Thanks,

Ross.
